Use this option to cut or erase a hole out of the wall.
To make a cut-out, it is required to have created a room. This option allows you to make a hole on a wall in the design. After clicking on this option, the program asks to select a wall. If you are in "2D", the wall will be highlighted in red. After selecting the wall, the following dialog appears:
You can indicate the width, height and elevation of the cut-out. After clicking the following message appears: "Type a length or Push ESC to cancel...".
NOTE: When trying to cut a hole out of a wall that is smaller than the hole itself, the following message appears to let you know which measure of the hole (a: hole width, b: hole height, c: hole distance to floor) does not fit in the wall. |
If you want to cancel the cut-out, press "ESC" . To set the position of the cut-out, you can left-click with the mouse on the wall or enter the distance from the left corner and press "INTRO".
This option allows you to erase a selected wall hole. By clicking on this icon, Quick3DPlan® DS shows the message "Select object or press ESC to cancel". After selecting it, the following window will ask if you want to erase it:
